Seoul Forest Botanical Garden, Seoul

One of my favourite finds in Seoul was completely unexpected – We headed to Seoul forest one overcast, slightly gloomy morning on the hunt for cherry blossom (which we found in an abundance), and by happy accident stumbled across a pretty prefect little botanical garden. A little run down, the slight wear and tear gave the Seoul Forest botanical garden (or technically insect garden), this beautiful distressed feel that was so much fun to photograph.

From the second floor if you peer through the leaves you get great city views, and there’s even a little butterfly garden (which I believe usually has a whole garden to itself but is currently under refurbishment).
The insect garden is free to visit and is open Tuesday – Sunday from 10:00 – 17:30
